What happened in the Lowell Street stabbing incident?

As reported by Joseph Reaidi of the East London Advertiser, the Metropolitan Police were called at approximately 12:03am on Saturday, May 3, to reports of a fight in Lowell Street, Limehouse, near Commercial Road. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man suffering from stab wounds.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated:

“A man was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital, where he was assessed to have potentially life-changing injuries.”

How many were injured and arrested in the Limehouse incident?

According to the Met Police statement provided to Joseph Reaidi of the East London Advertiser, two other men, both aged 25, were also involved in the incident.

One of them sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital before being arrested on suspicion of affray. He remains in custody.
The third man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, later also arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in police custody.
