Two people have been hospitalised after an alleged assault at Romford Railway Station on Tuesday evening (27 May), according to a report by Rafi Mauro-Benady, Senior Reporter at My London. British Transport Police (BTP) confirmed they were called to the scene shortly after 6:15pm following reports of a confrontation involving a group of youths.

What happened at Romford Station?

As first reported by Rafi Mauro-Benady of My London, BTP officers responded to “reports of an altercation between a group of youths” at Romford Railway Station at approximately 6:15pm. Emergency services, including paramedics, attended the scene and two people were transported to A&E for medical treatment.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police told My London:

“Officers were called to reports of an altercation between a group of youths at Romford Railway Station at around 6.15pm yesterday (May 27). Officers attended, the incident is currently being investigated.”

Were any arrests made?

As per the report by My London’s Rafi Mauro-Benady, British Transport Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made so far in connection with the incident. Enquiries into the altercation and the circumstances leading to the hospitalisation of two individuals remain ongoing.
