London Ambulance Service also issued a statement, saying:

“We were called at 1.08am today (Wednesday, February 12) to reports of an incident in East Ham. We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Barking Road. We sent resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car and an incident response officer. We were also called to reports of a stabbing on Barking Road. We took one person to a major trauma centre and the other patient to a local hospital.”
