An 18-year-old man was hospitalised after being stabbed during a fight on Hoskins Street in Greenwich, south east London, on Wednesday evening, prompting a police appeal for witnesses.

At around 5.40pm on April 9, officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to Hoskins Street following reports of a violent altercation involving four males. Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service also attended the scene, where they found an 18-year-old man with stab wounds.

The victim received immediate medical treatment on-site before being taken to hospital. His injuries have since been confirmed as non-life changing.

Have any arrests been made?

As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they are making “urgent enquiries” to identify and locate the other individuals involved in the incident.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said:
“Around 17:40hrs on Wednesday, 9 April, officers were called to an altercation between four males on Hoskins Street, Greenwich. We attended with the London Ambulance Service. An 18-year-old man was treated at the scene for stab wounds, and was taken to hospital. His injuries were assessed as non-life changing. No arrests have been made, and officers are making urgent enquiries to locate the other individuals.”

The force is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have relevant information to come forward.
