West Ham begin the search for a new head coach after results fall short of club expectations.

Following a tough start to the season for West Ham, Rehanne Skinner has officially left the role of head coach at West Ham. Currently in the Women’s Super League, West Ham place 11th, 2nd from the bottom of the league table, just ahead of Liverpool.

Across the Women’s Super League fixtures so far, West Ham have only managed a single win for their opening 11 matches, beating Everton at home on the 16th November 2025.

Rehanne Skinner joined West Ham United in 2023, becoming the head coach for the women’s first team, but her time at the club has come to an end following difficult results.

West Ham United confirmed the decision in a club statement, stating that ‘recent results have not matched expectations, and the Board of Directors believe change is necessary’. The board believe that the team’s position in the Barclays Women Super League needs to improve as soon as possible, with the club taking all necessary measures.

The board has thanked Rehanne Skinner for all her hard work and commitment to the team across the past two years, wishing her every success in the future. In the club statement, the club have confirmed that the process of recruiting a new women’s team head coach is underway, however the club will make no further comment at this time.
