Regulation worries continue as West Ham suffer another loss in the Premier League
West Ham United took yet another blow with a 3-0 loss against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday. Wolves currently place bottom of the Premier League table, with West Ham just two places ahead, placing 18th in the league table. This win marks Wolves first win for the Premier league season, and a disaster for West Ham.
Within the first 41 minutes of the game, West Ham were 3-0 now, with Jhon Arias scoring in the 4th minute, Hwang Hee-chan scoring in the 31st minute, and Mateus Mane scoring in the 41th minute.
Within the opening 41 minutes, West Ham found themselves 3-0 down after an astounding start from Wolves. Jhon Arias opened the match, scoring in the fourth minute, before Hwang Hee-chan doubled the lead in 31 minutes. Mateus Mané then added a third goal just before the half time whistle.
In the post match interview with West Ham manager Nuno Espírito Santo, he expressed embarrassment for the team’s performance on the pitch, ‘we are disappointed, we are sad, and frustrated’. ‘We should apologise to our fans’ he added

But hope is not lost for Nuno Espírito Santo, despite reflecting on the poor performance on Saturday. The West Ham manager said the result was ‘something that makes us think and reflect on the situation’, while also stressing a fast response to the loss, adding ‘we cannot repeat this kind of performance, we must do much better’
Captain, Jarrod Bowen also expressed his upset following Saturday’s match, explaining that the day was ‘very,very tough’. ‘We need to understand the situation we are in, we go under too easily and it resulted in us being four points from relegation’.
Saturday’s loss leaves an even bigger question of West Ham’s future within the Premier League, with their next match on Tuesday 6th of January against Nottingham Forest, we hope to see a better performance from West Ham United.
