New year, new tables, four East London restaurants opening this February

New year, new tables, four East London restaurants opening this February

With January finally behind us, let’s take a look at the fresh wave of restaurants coming to East London this February

With the longest and most financially challenging month of the year out of the way, the shortest month of the year approaches. And the best way to enjoy yourself this February is through trying new foods, and East London’s newest hotspots. Below are four new restaurants coming to East London this February.

The Good Front Room:

This launch marks the opening of Chef Dom Taylor’s first official permanent restaurant, the menu aims to adapt to modern interpretations of Caribbean cuisine.

It opened on Thursday 5th February, adding a fresh new addition to Hackney’s food scene.

Address: 1 Thomas Tower, Dalston Square, Greater London, E8 3GU

Hoppers Shoreditch:

While this isn’t a brand new restaurant, Hoppers is expanding with the opening of its fourth restaurant, expanding the branch to Shoreditch. Alongside the much-loved menu classics, the new location will also introduce dishes inspired by South India.

It opened on Wednesday 4th February.

Cafe Kowloon:

The opening of Cafe Kowloon is a part of the hospitality group 6 of 1, who also own Mr Bao, and its sister spot Wonton Charlie’s. Cafe Kowloon is a new Cantonese restaurant aiming to bring the flavours of Hong Kong to London Fields.

It has just recently opened on Wednesday the 4th February.

Mama Li Canary Wharf:

Mami Li is set to open its third restaurant in Canary Wharf this February, bringing its signature Cantonese flavours to East London. The new location marks the brand’s growing success, continuing the focus on its classic Cantonese roast meats.

The restaurant does not have a set open date, however is set to open in February this year, alongside this they are offering exclusive offers for anyone who signs up!

East London’s new restaurant openings this February are setting the tone for an exciting year ahead! The new spots offer the perfect excuse to explore new cuisines this February, proving that February really is the official start to the new year.
