LONDON — Industry leaders, business representatives and international stakeholders gathered in London on 10–11 October for the second edition of London Halal Forum 2026, an event dedicated to exploring opportunities across the global halal economy.
Held at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, the forum took place under the theme “Halal Tayyib for Humanity”, bringing together discussions on investment, finance, tourism, technology, supply chains, trade, branding, modest fashion and Islamic art.
The programme reflected the expanding scope of the halal economy, which reaches beyond food and traditional consumer products into lifestyle, creative industries, tourism and emerging technologies.
A central theme of the event was the importance of building connections between markets, encouraging innovation and creating opportunities for international cooperation. London’s position as an international centre for business and culture provided a setting for discussions on how ideas and products can reach audiences across borders.

H.E. Yousef Hasan Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development (ICCD), highlighted the importance of culture, creativity and human connection during his participation in the forum.
His message emphasised how celebrating cultural diversity and encouraging creative expression can bring communities closer together while creating opportunities for deeper understanding and meaningful partnerships.
The forum also featured discussions on Saudi Arabia’s developing halal ecosystem, the future of halal tourism, investment opportunities and the role of technology in supporting businesses operating across international markets.
Cultural and networking activities formed another part of the programme, including a Palestinian Breakfast, a Turkish dinner, and Islamic art showcases and masterclasses. These activities provided opportunities for participants to engage with different cultural traditions alongside the forum’s business agenda.
The event was organised through the Halal360 Platform, a joint initiative of ICCD and Saudi Arabia’s Halal Products Development Company (HPDC). HPDC served as the main sponsor, while Anadolu Agency was identified as the forum’s global communication partner.

As the global halal economy continues to develop, London Halal Forum 2026 provided a platform for businesses, institutions and cultural representatives to exchange ideas and explore partnerships spanning industries and national borders.
